This bed looks nice and it's sturdy. There are some quality issues, however. One of the side frames came slightly crushed. It wasn't from delivery as the box was fine. We think it came from the factory that way. We contacted the seller and they compensated us (% return vs. returning), however we feel that it shouldn't have been that way n the first place. Returning would have been a pain. Some things to look out for. The wooden slats holding up the mattress will twist if attempting to move the bed with the mattress on top. There is a center section that supports the slats well, however, too much adjusting of the bed will break those. We only figured this out when swapping out our mattress. I had to lift up the foot section to realign everything again. Everything remained in place after putting on the new mattress. This bed needed adjustments. First, if you have hard wood floors, it will slip and slide easily, you need to purchase grip pads from a hardware store and stick them to the frame's legs so that the bed won't slide around everywhere. Second, and most important flaw, is that the 4 legs that support the center of the bed are pathetic. After sleeping on the bed for a month, those legs completely caved and would not hold not matter how many times we screwed them back in. My husband and I are not heavy people, so it's pretty ridiculous. We decided it would be too much hassle to return the bed and look for a new one, so we bought a 1 by 1 wooden beam at Home Depot, sawed it into 4 parts, and screwed them in place of those pitiful support legs. So after all that, it is now functional. Buyers beware. Hardly what I would call a quality product.
