About the Director Ray Hollowell, Founder and Managing Director, was born on the East coast of Virginia and has resided in Hawaii since 1994. Ray has a special bond with the ocean and its animals as documented through his camera lens. Whether he s fishing amongst a pod of dolphins, eye to eye with a shark or observing humpback whales as they glide by, Hollowell is known for getting the epic shots needed to bring sizzle to the screen. PlanSea.org came to Ray as a vision after his near death experience at the notorious Banzai Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu. See more
