These work for more than derailleur bands. By ordering the right size for bike frame tubes the uses are much wider. I bought mine to secure the bottom of hydration bag on my bike. The pre-drilled hole are perfect for tie downs or bolts.Used this for adding my Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur (circa 2006) to my Rivendell Roadini steel frame bike. Looks great, fit perfectly.It fit perfectly. Easy to install. Got my old bike going again good as newI recently converted my bike to a triple and need a new derailleur. I opted for the braze-on and this clamp. Now I can move that nice Ultegra derailleur to any frame I may get in the future.I purchased this to replace the same band that broke on my road bike (due to over-tightening).
