An overlooked gem. The art in this collection is varied and some of it tends in the 90s-super-muscly direction, but somehow it works here. The women are ridiculously proportioned, but at least the men are too. Bennett's artwork is a highlight: kinetic, nice use of perspectives, and really conveys the tension and strangeness of the Scarlet Witch subplot. The storytelling is great, combining conventional plot lines with some nice twists and some very apt and topical political commentary. Pretty much everything Falcon says is brilliant; Priest writes him as the most relentless wiseass of all time, both funny and socio-politically astute. The only sour point was the ambiguous ominous ending, which I wasn't that into, plus now I have to figure out where the story picks up. Oh well, first world problems.
