My son helped me assemble the table. It is beautiful and sturdy. The end tables and coffee table that are part of Torrence line as well are lovely too.I like the stand a lot but was very disappointed in the color. This is not cherry, there is no red undertones or color at all. I almost think they sent the wrong one because the description is dark cherry.Solid wood, easy to put together, with two people would be better. I love it! I would buy again.I purchased this table for my living room. It needed assembly and my husband (a retired finish carpenter) was very impressed with the quality. Coming from him, that says a lot. This table has become the focal piece in our living room because it's so beautiful. Wicker baskets are perfect for the bottom shelf!I received my table yesterday and I love it!!! It is not only sturdy, but beautiful as well. It arrived in perfect condition because it was packed in a way to avoid any damage. It was very easy to assemble, and even though the directions suggested using two people I was able to put it together by myself with no problem. I completed it in about fifteen minutes and could not be happier with my selection. Anyone looking for a console table would not be disappointed with this purchase.This sofa table was packed to arrive in perfect condition. The hardest part was getting it out of the box. The rest of the assembly was a piece of cake. Real wood. Sturdy. Simple and attractive.Superb quality. Very easy assembly. Came packaged great with no damage. Delivery guys did leave it leaning against my garage door and didn’t ring the doorbell but that’s not really on Amazon. Easily rivals tables over twice the price. Highly recommend!I am overall pleased with the table. A little disappointed in some dings that clearly show it is particle board and not wood. However, it fits perfectly in my hall and was easy to put together
