Ready America museum gel adhesive, series: quake hold, 4 oz, gel, Clear, number of mixing steps, temperature range, pressure range, resists, includes. Amazon.com Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh DettweilerWhat's in the BoxFour-ounce jar From the Manufacturer Quakehold! 33111 Museum Gel, Clear See more

Used in drawers to hold plastic bins in place. Used on shelf to keep items in place without fear of being knocked off.Seriously? This product is absolutely amazing when used correctly. Few things to note:-It is only for horizontal surfaces. It will never hold something to your walls.-It is not for viscous surfaces. If it can absorb it will.-You are probably using way more than you need to. You seriously need a drop smaller than the size of the head of a pin for most objects, if whatever you used it on has drips a while later you just simply used too much.-It will come off easily after months of being on. I moved some stuff with it around frequently, probably on a weekly basis, and others I have had in the same place for months but whenever I try to move something it is the same easy process. It kind of chunks up so you just have to touch it to itself to get it back together, just like slime.-It does flatten out. This is why people usually use too much, a small ball will turn into a flat puddle the size of a coin after a while.-It is reusable, it just gets tinted with dirt from fingerprints after many uses. I used this to hold down hundreds of miniature objects inside of a display dollhouse and it gives me tons of freedom to move stuff around without ruining anything, and add and subtract where I need to. This is a fantastic product.I wish it was a little more sticky but works for what I needed. This is a fun gel, very thick, but somehow levels itself, inspite of being all kneaded and crumpled.Used this to attach a couple of cute "dash sitters" in my car.Came new in box. Good amount that will last forever.I'm thrilled. We have two small children who shake *secured* furniture but items on top fall over. This solves that! Every photo, plants, decor, even night lights are steady. We also have a swamp cooler that blows items off shelves and those things won't budge even when the cooler is on high! And yes, it removes easily, I rolled out under my finger until it came up. It does get a little soft in the heat, but it hasn't really been an issue so far.We bought this so our cat would stop pushing stuff off the shelves and it works like a charm. Beware not to use too much because as it gets warm it spreads out and looks like a goo spillThis is delightful. My husband and I just adopted a 3.5 year old former feral cat, and decided to grab some museum gel to hold down flower vases and such. Well, not only did it work, but it gave us some entertainment watching Lando trying to bat a wireless phone charger off the desk to no avail. I love that the gel is clear, too, you can barely see it on our glass desk.I've included a photo of my cat because he's adorable.写真と全然違うチャック付きビニール袋に入ってるだけの商品が届きました。他の方のレビューのようなガラス?プラスチック?の容器はどこいったんですか?ちなみに重さを測ったらチャック付きビニール袋も込みで118gでした。This is really good. With ceramics that don't have a coat I used a little superglue wait for it to dry then museum gel. This makes a base for the museum gel to work and it works perfectly! Generally sticks to a lot of things. Sometimes in heat if you use a lot it can melt slightly and come out from the bottom. So don't use too much, it's not needed. So far I've stuck down at least 50 items and still have over half left. It's worth the money compared to others. Really great to keep things safe from my cat who loves to knock things over. After something I love was broken (luckily we found most bits to glue it together) on a shelf we didn't think our cat could reach I knew I had to buy something and this has been a lifesaver! Although it does confuse my cat when he tried to knock it over!Having watched our youngest cat race across the living room floor, jump onto a glass-topped table and skid across the surface stopping only just short of a vase, I decided it might be time to invest in something to protect the ornaments. Museum gel appears to be the answer. It is a thick, clear gel that is easily broken up into tiny balls, a little like blu-tack and just as reusable. These balls are then stuck under the item you need to secure, dotted evenly around the perimeter and middle to give good adhesion. Check position and then lightly press into place. Adhesion is immediate (you can adjust lighter items before you press into place) and items can no longer be tapped out of position but an overnight cure will provide best adhesion (no cats in the living room until then, just in case the anti-skid brakes stop working). The fact it is clear means that it won’t show up under glass or other transparent items. It seems to work well and, in the event you misalign your item, a simple twist at the base will release the gel’s grip. So far it is working well and I will update in the event of any future problems, but it appears to be putting the brakes on my youngest cat’s attempts to put my nerves to the test with her last minute manoeuvring. Fingers crossed it continues to do so.Was recommended this by a gentleman in a museum when I was discussing how I was worried my children would knock over my vase. It is amazing 20 minutes after applying the vase isn’t moving with reasonable pressure. Can remove to clean surface and then replace and it still Works. However, doesn’t work as well on porous things or surfaces, but I am told there is a none clear one for that.
