I bought this because I lost my regular portrait mat (I have no idea how). I was VERY skeptical that this would be any different than the regular one, but in actuality it worked great! My first use with it was for stickers and the back got stuck on one spot only and I was able to carefully remove it without completely ruining my project. With the original mat, the back of the sticker paper would always get stuck and I would have a gigantic mess. This was a very good alternative to it.The price on Silhouette America's website for this is $12.99 currently. I got it on here for about $6.50 which is a great price. These are not sold at my local craft store so my only options are to buy on Amazon (or other online retailers) or to make one myself. Personally, this was a good price in my opinion and it really worked well for the majority of my projects.
