'America and the Almighty' is an unafraid analysis of the peril that America finds herself in. It turns from the analytical to a more dramatic approach at the end of the book, where Bunkley skillfully weaves a fictional plot that squares with his assertions as to the cause of America's problems. The basic premise is that America is the 'mustard seed' that Christ spoke of in the Kingdom parable. Most churches teach this as if it only applies to the individual's relationship with God. But these parables are self-identified as Kingdom parables with phrases like 'The Kingdom of God is likened unto...'. The apostles asked when the Kingdom would be realized and Christ answered 'times and seasons will pass', and so they have. The mustard seed parable states that the Kingdom would be small and feeble at first but grow into the largest herb in the field. The field is identified as the 'World' and NOT Heaven. Christ taught us to pray 'Thy Kingdom come... on Earth as it is in Heaven'. We know from Daniel that there would be 4 systems that would supplant Israel before the Kingdom would be restored. The founding of America signaled the demise of the last anti-Christ system and that is Rome (along with her feudalism). Facets of all 4 of these systems (Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, and Rome) are coming against America at this very time. Democracy (mob rule), Humanism (man's laws instead of God's), Debt Money (Federal Reserve and company), Principalities (corporations that outlive humans and control the herd). That is the bad news. The good news is that Christ died for the Kingdom as well as the individual. There is blood on the Mercy Seat and America is in her final state of judgment. The widow in Revelations will soon receive a clean set of garments. The widow is Israel and the widow is America. God's plan is right on schedule and the sinners in Zion are very afraid. For the common folk, expect a mighty revival. For those in power who are complicit with the enemy, all I can say is time is very short for you to repent. But even you can be saved from the fierce anger of the Lord because 'His mercy endureth forever'. All glory to God.
