I bought this for my best friend and her husband- they set a goal when they got married to visit all the National Parks over the course of their lives together. I flipped through this before I wrapped it and found it was a fantastic quick reference with maps, best things to see and do, and handy travel tips. It seemed like they had little side boxes for all the parks' 'best kept secrets' or 'off the beaten path' tips, which I really liked. Obviously we live in the internet age and you'll head online for more in depth info on each park if you're visiting them, but this is a perfect starting off point to inspire your travels. (Also, it's very up-to-date, including info on certain natural disasters that have changed parts of some of the parks up to 2017-18.)
