Love these leggings! The band provides great belly support for me (I've been wearing them with the band folded down, under my belly for that extra support.) I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant, 5'2", 125 lbs (pre-preggo 105 lbs) and ordered the XS. They fit great, they're thick, not see through at all. I gave only 4 stars because I just received them, so I don't know about pilling or quality issues down the road when they are worn and washed more.When I go to the store, my choices are limited to nylons and high-cut leggings and I did not want either of those choices. These were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted my legs covered, but not a closed-toe legging. These are fantastic! I am not using them for compression, so I'm not sure how they rate in that department, but I will say the top covers my ever-expanding belly and does not roll down, which is a huge plus.During my pregnancy my thighs and butt have definitely increased in size so wearing my old pants is not an option. Wearing leggings has been my savior and these are great because they don't itch at the waste. Most of my leggings have a stretchy fabric at the waste which causes me to scratch my belly throughout the day. These leggings are perfect, although they sometime slide down, they don't cause me to itch and that's a huge relief!These tights are comfortable enough to wear throughout pregnancy because the belly band is thick, super soft and stretchy.. My issue is that the legging part of the tights are made of cheap poor quality jersey fabric so after just a few washes the material looks old and worn and a bit stretched out at the knees. These tights would be great if the whole thing was made of the thick fabric used for the belly band.I loved these leggings all throughout my pregnancy with my first baby. they are comfortable, gave room to my ever expanding belly, and were supportive. the reason for 4 stars is that postpartum, the band rides up and can be annoying. I'd still purchase them again, though.These leggings are great given that they are actual maternity leggings, not made of a pantyhose material, so they actually aren't see through and stay up too so that's a bonus!A tiny bit short:)
