This is one of the finest Irish Celtic recordings ever made. It captures Dolores Keane, John Faulkner and Eamonn Curran at the height of their powers. Keane's voice is piercing, and Faulkner and Curran are more than able musicians. Overall, the recordings capture the hope and heartbreak of the Irish emigration better than any I've heard. The production work is outstanding as well. The entire album is at once sophisticated enough for the aficionado, and accessible enough for a first-time listener. Simply beautiful.
