Works quite well to loosen stuck shredded paperUnited Tested on: Fellows 99 CiThe lubricant is very thin but does the job. Easy to apply and keeps the Fellows 99 Ci running ( purchased in 2009) for another couple of years. Ideally apply the product when emptying out the paper bin. Older shredders may require frequent application.Arrived on the estimated date as described.Works ok, but I just wish it was a little thicker. It tends to be very runny and very messy to use. However, it does do the job and lasts quite long before needing to re-apply. Here's a tip, make the opening in the plastic nozzle a small as you can. A little larger the a pin size would work fine. Also it helps to line the bottom inside your shredder with paper towels upon emptying cleaning and lubricating the unit. The lubricant also has a very strong smell and it does take sometime to dissipate. As the shredder is used the paper soaks up any excess oil and keeps the unit cleaner and helps cover the smell.When looking for other shredder oils, i read about them just being repackaged canola oil at a higher price. I wanted something a little more specialized, and when I opened this bottle, I knew this was the industrial-grade stuff that I was looking for.Very strong chemical smell but does the job well. I wet a standard sized 8.5x11" piece of paper with this oil and run it through the shredder. Then reverse the shredder and run it straight for about a minute. My shredder hasn't let me down yet.Seem to be a very good product. We will tell as time goes on but so far looks good.I like to oil a letter size piece of paper and run it through the machine both forward and backward. I think that has attributed to how well my shredder runs. Just every so often I do that and haven't had a problem. I also had a problem with the lock on one of my doors. It would freeze up and I couldn't unlock it so I took it all apart squirted some oil on the inside of the lock and it works much better. I would order it again.Seems to work just fine.Shredder oil does the job for my home shredder which I use not very often. I figure it will do me fine for couple of years. Cheaper if you use regular cooking canola oil if you use your shredder a lot (google it) if you are a real cheapskate.I've used this a couple of times on my shredder over the last year. Seems to help the lubrication of shredding gears, less squeaking and more smooth running. Terrible fumes, use only in well ventilated area, has a huge number of warnings.
